Chateau Montelena
The Winery. This is a two-frame panorama put together in DoubleTake.

One of the islands

Shooting from the other direction on the bridge. The sun came out for a second.

The obligatory swan. He was a little too close to get totally in focus. He had just finished "nibbling" at my shoes.

Reeds around one of the islands. Can't make up my mind if I like the low key color or the B&W best.

1. Love the black & white
and the shots of the bridge.

Looks like the kind of place where one could fill up a 2 gig card in no time. :)

2. Yeah, it's one of my favorite places in the valley
I actually went there to get some shots of water fowl, but everybody was scarce today. Just a few ducks and the nippy swan. Got a couple of shots of a skittish egret, but as always, he was too far away for a good shot with only a 200 mm. And it was too early in the year for the turtles.

You can reserve the islands for picnics, which is great fun.
