It's a silhouette with eyes. Heavy backlighting but I was able to burn in the eyes a bit. Facial features are simply not there.

6. That's what's so distinctive about black cats...
...everything disappears except the eyes.

Nice photo. I notice a slight glint of light on the feline's chest. I can't tell if that's a bit of white in the coat (there are very few purely-black cats; most have a touch of white fur there), or glint off a license tag. If the latter, I'd recommend cloning it out.

8. It's not my cat . . .
I was visiting some friends in San Francisco and this cat was just sitting on the neighbors deck railing. A little tap on a window got the cat to look my way for the shot. Ya never know when a good picture will pop out of the background noise.
