I know the photos don't win prizes, but the flowers cheered me up after a tricky week.
Simply handheld, auto focus, with a canon point and shoot, no flash of course.

1. Pretty flowers
Do they smell as pretty as they look? Sorry to hear you've had a bad week, Mira. Those flowers are certain to brighten anyone's day. I know these pictures brightened mine.

2. Good job arranging
I love roses that color. Are they from your yard? I need to start remembering to bring things in from outside.

All these floral pictures have inspired me to go to the Botanical gardens sometime soon.

Some years here we have everything bloom together but this year is one of those spread out years. The fruit blossoms and forsythia are mostly gone but the azaleas and dogwood are "popping", as someone said.

So far, I do have some buttercups that look good.

5. Not from the yard, not yet. Mother's day is about when roses bloom around here.
That spot on my kitchen table brings me a lot of joy actually, because when I walk in as the sun goes low, the exposure from the West is a direct hit, and makes fruit or flowers look wonderful.

I had a few scary days when I was actually in danger, and had to use all my wits to get safe.
A friend brought the roses, and I'm getting over PTS and also am looking for a person to write the script for the movie.

:sarcasm:
I think
