Late sun - and good bye for a while.

I had a chance to say yes to an opportunity to go camping in a VW camping vehicle and cross the country - for 3 weeks.
I'll be in Sedona in a time share in the middle for a week, in Taos, the painted desert, and just meandering through Thelma and Louise country the rest.

I have to pay a third the gas, nothing for the time share, and for my food.
YEAH.
Friends whom I have known a long time who own the vehicle, and who have been there before ( I like traveling with "natives") are my companions.

The sad news of course is that my selfish back yard updates will not be forthcoming, the good news is that I will return with new materials to post,

I've cruised my neighborhood in the last two days to find an image worth submitting to the HISTORIC PLACES contest. I have two, and will decide. I hope I'll be able to post it en route.

DON'T MISS ME TOO MUCH !

The first image shows a piece of wall that fell in and I saved enough pieces to make the little installation. It was done by my nephew and is part of a lost piece of wonderful graffiti, or "piecing".
