Skagit Tulips
The annual Skagit Tulip Festival runs throughout the month of April. However, due to the late winter up here in the Pacific Northwest, for most of the Festival's run, there were no tulips visible! Finally, in the last week or so, the blooms finally appeared, giving tourists a few days of color before the harvesting began.

3. Thanks...
My back's still not quite recovered from those, which were obtained by setting the tripod to the lowest level possible, putting on an ultra-wide-angle lens, and kneeling between those rows, with the nearest flowers about an inch from the camera. On the bright side, I now know that my industrial-strength set of kneepads work fine!
