Just learned to milk high-speed flash sync from my D70
Edited on Sun May-03-09 12:44 PM by Tallison
Taped over the D70's rear two hot shoe sensors, attached the SB800 flash, set it on manual at 1/32 power; set the D70 on manual exposure at f8 and 1/3200, and BOOM! I've heard this is possible for a long time, but didn't try it until today. Wow, it really works!

1. My dear Tallison!
Wow, how stunning!

I am simply blown away...

The stopped motion is awesome, plus the picture is beautiful as well...

Congrats!

2. The possibilities are endless. Look to be hosting our monthly contests
on a semi regular basis.

3. I'd love to see it . . .
. . . but all I see is a notice from Photobucket that the image was moved or deleted.
