A little baby not yet afraid of me....but afraid to fly
Heard him squawk, and once I found him he just sat there and looked me over.
What fun that he had never seen a human or a camera before.

4. Aw, so sweet
Excellent pics. Was Mommy around? I got a picture of a baby brown thrasher at the Tennessee River, and Mom bravely guarded the baby. Not sure that she was that excited about my taking picture of baby, but she didn't move, and I was close.

6. About 3 feet or even less. It was one of those once in a lifetime chances. I had
to go up two flights of stairs to get the camera after telling him to wait for me, which he did.
Glad you like them, and thanks.

7. Good shot !
We have been raising orphaned baby birds, and I have learned the length of the tail, not to mention
those fuzzy head feathers, indicate the bird's age, sorta. This is a very very young one.
Was Momma in attendance?
