A few pictures from Bucharest
I'm not very satisfied with what I shot last night and today in Bucharest, with one exception. This morning, while visiting a Byzantine church near my hotel, there were two very cute little girls playing outside the entrance in a loggia decorated with some interesting frescoes. As one of the girls ran behind a cabinet containing lit candles, the other one paused for a second so that I could take her picture.

It's not at all easy photographing people! I really appreciate the gift that Mira and others here have of capturing people at just the right moment!

For the rest, well, I didn't produce anything really worthy of posting. I should show you a few pics of the concert hall though. The interior, while very beautiful, was tricky for me to shoot properly.

Here's a staircase.

This is the exterior taken last night.

Tomorrow we fly to Vienna.

1. Many times . . .
. . . capturing the right moment means taking a lot of pictures to get one good one. Just a hint.

2. OHHHHH I like...the staircase is wonderful...
beautifully snaking diagonal and gives the impression of it being quite large; and the precious little girl looks honored you took her picture.
Now you are in the city of some of my youth, Vienna, and where I went to school for a while. I have many very close relatives there. And I want to go back to see them, yes, but also to go on a photo tour.

I'm vacationing here in the Florida Keys with my adopted sister who lives near Berlin, knows Prague intimately and I know Vienna well enough.
We are planning a trip ASAP after we save up some new money. With our family connections hotels are not needed.
