Zenyatta wins 18 of 18!
She did it! Won the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes for the third year in a row! Photos forthcoming...

1. Can't beat those Ky bred horses.
My sister in law has been in the business for decades. She now works at Rood and Riddle. http://www.roodandriddle.com/ She has been a Foal man for a long time, and recently a barn supervisor. Not sure what she is doing for them right now.

If you ever go to the Keeneland sales or other big sales, you may have met her.

That's her in the red in the second image.

2. A dream job!
Your SIL must love her work! I don't follow the races per se, I have a love/hate relationship with the racing industry. But when a Superstar like Zenyatta comes along it's all love! I am so blessed to have a job that gives me unusual access with my camera to world-class equine athletes and their partners from many disciplines... show jumping, dressage, racing, etc.

Here are some photos of Zenyatta from the last few days:

3. Beautiful pictures. Your use of DOF is very good. I hope you can sell some of
Your photos to the horse enthusiasts.

My sister in law says she loves working the Keeneland Yearling Sales. She makes real good money doing that. She says it's fun watching rich people rip each other off.

Maybe I should hit the fall meet at keeneland this year. It's one of the prettier tracks in the US.

6. I AM LITERALLY speechless. Caps unintended
but appropriate.
It makes me happy you take me into a world I don't know anything about, and you teach, delight, and amaze me.

7. You take the most beautiful photos/portraits
of horses and your love of them shines through every single one. That jockey portrait is pretty good too as are the crowd scenes.
