Trouble at the Watering Hole

In the urban jungle, the watering hole exemplifies the precarious balance of nature. Creatures of all kinds congregate here, seeking relief from the hot afternoon sun:





But peace is fragile at the watering hole:





Suddenly, the charge:





What happened next? I never found out.:scared:

At the charge. Urban fountains are always interesting in the summer, but an urban fountain with a random elephant statue that looks like it is charging a bather????? That's a first. Good catch. Lotsa fun.

I especially like the last two. It must be really hot where you are. We've just come off a month of rain.

8. Hey, Blue! We're finally cooling down

and it's been a long time coming. A month of rain sounds pretty good, though not conducive to photography. It's weird, but I did a lot more shooting between January and April than I have this summer. Need to get out there more this fall.
