1. Well, you nailed it!
We should have a contest with patterns. That first one is a sure winner.

2. She looks like she's posing
in those last two. She is such a little spitfire and a joy to have around. :D

3. Jeff is a good motivator, The third one, my favorite,
is simply phenomenal in color / patterns / and sweetness. That makes me (almost) want a cat.

8. I can't choose.
I love them all. The second one has that Hollywood star pose going which cracks me up. She loves the attention so is very patient about me taking pics.

4. The last one
really gets me. Tiger stripes and brocade just seem perfect together. Add the gold eyes to the gold in the material, to the gold in the fur, and wow. BTW, what do the claws do to that?

9. I have these two very old
chairs that are water stained that I picked up for free so the upholstery is pretty shot anyway. Her biggest sister, Lena, already has the arms of both and the back on one are pretty well shredded, so I'm not too concerned as the body of these chairs are intact and need to be re-upholstered.

Daddy keeps saying he's going to build a big scratcher/lounger thingie but I haven't seen it yet.

a great motivator, and I agree with Mira that your photo #3 is super . . . but . . .

6. the third is also my favorite
Between the whorls on the sofa and the round shape of the kitty's whiskers, there's a "swirliness" to the picture that is anchored and centered by the eyes. And beyond all that, it's a really cute cat. Nice pictures.

7. I don't know about these people that coordinate
their cat and couch but it makes for a great photos. I know you didn't set out to get a matching cat but not sure you could find one on purpose that would match so well to both the golds and grays. All 3 are great photos but that last one is the perfect kitty portrait. She is adorable and yes keep taking photos. Not sure they could get much better technique-wise but love seeing her and they grow so fast that there is no such thing as too many pictures. A suggestion for you. Find something that will remain the same size and that you know the size of well and won't get rid of in the next few years. Get a photo of her next to or on it every month for now on up to a year, then maybe every 3 months. It would make a great visual story of her growth and a way to remind how small she was when you are lugging a 20 lb cat (if she gets Maine Coon size.) I really wish someone would of told me to do that with the Butterball, well really all of them.

12. If I could get her and her sisters
to pose together on a regular basis, that would be the thing. Little do they realize at this point that she will be bigger than either one of them eventually. Her biggest sis, Lena, is a pretty big cat, not fat but just large. Her other sissy, Lucy, looked really small to me before I brought this one home.

The other two I found on craigslist within a couple of months of each other. This one found me. I couldn't deny that little face. I'm tempted though to change her name from Lilya to NoFear because she is totally without.

13. I love the second one. She's a pretty cat.
There are few examples I can think of when someone ever took my advice, so it makes me feel a bit giddy when it turns out I was on the right track.:hi:

14. Well, it was good advice in all of its simplicity.

Those last two were taken with the macro on, the flash up and her little face only about a foot from the camera. Worked beautifully.

Thanx!

19. Thank you, sheepshank.
She is a little attention hog when she isn't being a perpetual motion machine. LOL

I got up very early yesterday morning, so after a while I laid back down on the couch and fell back to sleep for a while. I awoke to find her curled up on my chest. Bill said she was there for about 45 minutes but I never felt her climb up there. She's so tiny and light...for the time being. ;)
