A pink rose
Taken with my new fixed focus lens. I took out the color and used only the spot color effect Picasa has.

2. Thanks so much. I don't do flowers often because all of
you are so much better at photographing them than I do. But I'm playing with my new lens, and very happy with it.

I did not consider it as an entry. I think the shoot I did last night with a couple of black items in my house on a backdrop of black velvet will be my entry.

It's black, for sure.
I'm glad that's behind me, but it was a real challenge.

6. Beautiful lighting. Fine shot.
I like the spot color. That sort of thing can look trite sometimes, but here it works very subtly and effectively.
