4. I took this last year.
To be honest I don't remember if I even noticed the little kid. I just loved the old man's hair. When I was processing this I noticed the kid so I thought that Time would be a great name for the photo. Sometimes one element of a scene catches your eye so you take the shot and it isn't until later that you notice what else you've captured. Hopefully its a nice little surprise.

5. The little one adds a lot in some way.
It just depends on the story you want to tell.
What I specifically like is the complete involvement of the two principals with each other. That they are caught while BOTH are talking.
It's a prize winning shot. Simply fabulous no matter what interpretation you want to give it.
I too did not see the young person till way later.
