traveling, uhm, light?
Edited on Tue Oct-19-10 09:41 PM by WannaJumpMyScooter

my current ready box for field work

on edit... forgot to put what is in there... in the side compartment, a flash meter, my wireless flash triggers, spare batteries.

flashes across the top.... sb-50, 2 sb-28s, sb-80dx, sb29

at bottom sb-800 and a spare place where I stick remotes for the shutter

the sb-50 is a clunker of a flash, no manual control at all, only good for on-camera really, I should re-think carrying it

2. I discovered that my Thermos...
24-can insulated lunch tote works well for carrying flash, bounce, model releases, rechrger, etc. It has shoulder length carrying handles, is well padded, has two flip up hatches in the lid for putting in something skinny and tall (think folding light stand or lightweight monopod or tripod), all for under $20.
