2. This rings a faint bell reminding me of a complaint about this
from the heart of Texas. Last year. Fall contest. The complainant entered a tree to die for, gorgeous. And proceeded to high up in the ladder of appreciation in the polls.

Was that YOU?
Methinks it was.

3. :)....we have two seasons....hot and not so hot. Perhaps I'll find something
that has an autumnish feel. LOL.

We have Lost Maples SP not to far from here. It's a stand of Maple trees some settlers brought here many, many years ago. Thousands of people crowd the park each year just to see some color. Looks like a road trip is in order for the first week of November.

5. That's so interesting! And pretty.
Thanks for the link. I have that problem in the winter, we have a snow a year, and those photos have to last...But then, you probably have less snow than that.
Though, I remember being in Dallas for a convention once, and it was icy and snowy with everybody losing their heads...

think Halloween, Harvest, Thanksgiving when it comes to "Autumn".
There will be an abundance of leaf and tree photos anyway.

4. not here yet either
So, I pick from archives, and try to replenish this year. Unfortunately, our leaves are not nearly as brilliant this year. Big drought, I think.
