A couple of 2011 pics first to take up computer space
This was the very first photo I took for 2011. I drove by it going the other direction and did a U-ee and parked. There was a gent just off to the left in a wheel chair waiting for a Bus. He kept straining his neck to see what I was doing. I told him that I didn't take his picture and explained what I was doing. It would have been easy to steal his image, but I did not.

Even if you are not a fan of the cold/snow I'd really enourage you to get out and take some pictures. The light - the long shadows. It's very wonderful this time of year. I used an old compact digital camera on both of these.

The Title/Image is something seen more and more in this country. I think this was once a car dealership.

The New America

The title/photo gives this a bit of a religious take since it is very likely that the person buried here has been entirely forgotten.:(

Never Forgotten

I hope that the new year brings you joy and happiness and all your photographs give you a good feeling and a wonderful sense of capturing the life/world/beauty all around you.
