A few March Pics
I've seemed to have lost my mojo so I went in search of a few images that might knock me out of my photography rut.

This is the first from a series of 'water' exposures. If I can get around to it I can slap up the others.

Red Ripples

This will be (I promise) my last cemetery snap. I've been forbidden to go into cemeteries. It's complicated (no, not the movie). I thought it had a ha-ha chuckle look.

Oh-Noes!

I had to wait for this one. Got the image I wanted. Not sure I pulled it off.

Shuttle Departing Cloud Number 3

Not many opportunities for flowers yet. B&W is actually very connected to 'color'.

Mellow Yellow

Tree and Shadows at the Monument

Took this with my cell phone. I've started carrying around a fully manual (power nothing) camera around with me.

Mr. Egg

While on a hike. I was actually surprised that I was still in decent physical shape. I need to get back my leg strength but I did pretty good for an old fart.

The Soloist

A fave from my hike. It may turn off a few people because it's 'too dark'.

Lost At Dusk

I broke one of my Golden Rules at this mine. I did it for my SO.

Waiting

Another cell phone image. Went a little crazy on the processing with this one.

Trippin' Tickn'

The snow around here was up to 3 feet deep and I wasn't dressed for it.

Road Untraveled

I'm definitely not a landscape photog but that doesn't keep me from trying.

Twins Basking in the Sun

Any and all comments are welcome. Really appreciate you taking the time to view these. My next March group of photos is going to be strictly film. Actually, most of what I plan on doing in 2011 will be 90% film.

Thanks!!!
:hi:

3. You're too kind
You're waaaaay too kind. But, I'll take it. :7

Glad you liked them. I should add that I've been terribly neglect in offering my congrats on your wonderful - creative shadows photo. You seem to like exploring new ideas. It's a rare quality with many who use a camera. They are afraid to step outside their comfort zone. You are not. I really like that about you.

Again; thanks for your kind words.

5. Thanks. Still..I really like your shots.
I'm reminded of lomography in a couple and I really like that about those photos. I appreciate the "from the hip" aspect. (Road Untraveled/Trippin' Tickn') I really dig it, actually.

I adore the egg.

"Lost at Dusk" isn't too dark.

I experiment with flowers all the time and your flower expresses exploration.

Truly, I think they're wonderful.

Thank you for your kind words! :)

4. Thank you
I usually don't wait for an image to take form but I saw the potential in this one and waited. Glad you liked it. Oh, and it's not a tractor. It's actually a motor used for the mining mill. No biggee. With only the front to see I would say it's a tractor too.

I really liked how the shadows played out on the 'tractor' image.

Again; thank you.
