My Jumanji Board Wood Work

I've been working on this for awhile and thought I'd share. It's a replica of the game board from the film Jumanji that I've been putting together for a few years. It's been a fun experience cause when I started, I wasn't really that knowledgable in wood carving so there was alot of trial and error (And alot of woodchips throughout the house :P) But I'm getting close to the end now and I thought I'd start showing a few progress pics. Hope you like! :)

As for how long it's taken, I've been working on the darn thing, off and on for 2 1/2 years now. Not straight through, though. I'll work on it for a few months then the ADD will kick in and I'll work on another project. :P

Before the Jumanji Board, I spent half a year putting together a full size version of the Time Bandits Map. After several months of redrawing the sucker in Photoshop and Illustrator, I sent the file to a friend in California who printed out copies on canvas. Re-Creating prop replicas is a hobby of mine :)

landscaping my yard. And chopping trees up from the hurricanes 2 years ago. Those are lifetime projects. Keep up the good work.
