"There is no medical proof in any medical journal to prove that it works. This past August 2002 in Men's Health magazine there was a 4 page expose on Avacor stating it was a scam. Four weeks ago on ABC "Nightline" there was a program titles "BALDERDASS". The main point of the program was that Avacor is a worthless preparation. Is it possible to make topical lotions stop DHT production?

Yes, but if it is so potent it would have to get FDA approval. As a "cosmetic" there are a lot of bogus treatments which the FTA (not the FDA) says they do not have time to investigate and punish. Remember the Helsinki Formula? They were finally asked to stop marketing their product and fined $3 million dollars for false advertising. This was after they made $39 million in profit."
