Went to the Grocery Store ~ Stocked up on Good Stuff!
Chicken, pork loin and tuna fish
pasta and potato's
fruit and veggies both frozen and fresh!
Salad makings
Bread and peanut butter
Black beans and chickpeas
eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese and skim milk
etc.

I've dropped diet cokes and have upped my green tea and water intake :7

I'm usually really good at not bringing junk in the house when I'm "on" in my work out regime. I can't resist junk if it's in the house. So, if I want junk I have to go out to get it and that usually doesn't happen.

What do you buy at the grocery store usually? Are you big on meal planning/cooking?

1. I am sometimes the same way with having junk in the house
Most of the time I can have a tiny bit of dark chocolate if I need a fix though there are days where that's not the case.

I do most of my own cooking, rarely eat out and don't usually buy boxed food. I do that primarily to avoid extra sugar, though I will not deny that I have purchased a Reese's big cup on occasion in the check out aisle. :) Or eat birthday cake at work. With the right methods or recipes, it often tastes better anyway. I think there are better options now for boxed stuff, though most of it I see is at Whole Foods so it's more expensive. I really enjoy cooking so it's not a burden for me.

2. Awesome! I'm not a good cook, lol.
I rely on repetition mostly and salad/ sandwhiches.

The checkout, ha! yeah, Reese's are my weakness too. And NY style chocolate eclairs in the bakery area, mmm.

I've had issues with food and excercise in the past, it's easier when I have lotsa good healthy food in the house and just cook at home - it's an ongoing learning process for me!

3. get yourself a bread maker & make your own bread
that way you don't have to read a bajillion labels to find the one loaf of bread not made with HFCS. :)

4. I have one, can't remember the last time I used it.
What's the deal with that being all over the news lately? I don't get it.

You didn't answer what YOU buy/eat :P- from your very specific response I'm guessing you're really into health and all the finer details of just what that means...am I close?

5. lol!
I usually buy chicken, squash, apples, sometimes junk food. ;) But I try to stay away from HFCS, so making my own bread is a great time & money saver (& it tastes better).

6. Squash, Mmm!
with onions and milk and butter all simmered together until tender - so good.

Bread is on the "Junk List" for me, I love it. So I buy brown whole wheat, does its job but doesn't tempt me otherwise.

You'll have to give me a bread recipe to try. I've probably forgotten how to use that thing though.
