25. We moved to New York in December of '77

and we had back-to-back snows of over 20". Luckily the first one melted overnight before the second one came due to 50-degree temps and heavy rain. I've never seen that much snow melt so fast. And here we thought New York winters would be better than Detroit. I've never seen that happen here.

from 1977-87 and in 1996 were the worst winters I had to deal with. The bad thing was back then I lived on a secondary road that wasn't plowed for days long after the snow stopped. Walking through it was a nightmare.

Woke up feeling awful, so I stayed home. Tomorrow is caucus day, and feeling well enough to attend is my top priority.

I was going to get there about 9:00. They were supposed to open the doors at 11:00. They ended up opening the doors early, and they closed them at 11:00, as the 17k Key Arena was filled up.

One thing Obama did that was kind of cool though. There were about 3,000 people outside Key Arena who couldn't get in, and he stopped and talked to them before going inside.
