Sending DU vibes out to Patsy...
hoping you have power somehow, or get it back sooner than later if you lost it too.

Also wondering who pissed of FP&L. I know here they were threatening rolling blackouts sooner than later if our state government didn't let them increase rates when they took over BG&E.

5. Hi Gogi. I don't remember one
in the northeast recently beyond the normal outages caused by weather. Had one not too long ago at my house but that was because someone thought they could drive through the electric pole.

2. It's all good at my house
Unfortunately, my place of business suffered no loss of power; but my dentist had power too, so I could leave work early.

Only a few lights out at some big intersections, so standard hurricane behavior kicked in and we all made it through them.

There are still about 200K without power, but they think it should all be on before nightfall.

Thanks, CC!

4. You're welcome. It didn't sound too
bad on MSNBC or CNN though I heard rumors that FUX was hoping for riots. Though as you know too well no power can become a PIA fast.

When I lived in Orlando (my sibling and dad do the same) I always made sure my power was from Orlando Utilities and not FL&P. The cost was one quarter and power was always on first after a storm. Not sure the price is so different anymore but the power is still on first after a storm.

8. All is well.
The lights flickered at work for about two seconds and that was it. We had no idea how widespread it was.

7. So, you turned out OK, then.
Good, you'll be with us tonight.

So will I be with us. It's still snowing like crazy and I'd just as soon spend the night cozied up here with Keith if he didn't make the trip into town, which I doubt he did.

Just caught the Countdown ad that promises us a "SNEAK PEAK" at the debate. KEITH! Don't your people know how to spell? It's "PEEK," not "PEAK." A peak is on the top of a mountain...and we don't have any of those!

Oh well. I'll start the show thread soon, if no one minds.

11. Please do
And I think I'm going to watch the debate through those "horror movie" fingers waiting for the scary parts.
