I don't think I'll ever really feel at home here. It is just such a different environment from what I'm used to being around. Back home people are pretty laid back. I miss the drop-ins and the bonfire parties. I miss seeing a skyful of stars too. It is also really strange to walk around and not see Jayhawks everywhere. evlbstrd and I PM most days and we talk throughout the week. Between him, the Admiral I'm keeping (relatively) sane.

I am learning my way around the area and we're settling into a routine. I'm doing more exploring and found this great second hand shop. I picked up a huge rug for $10.
