What in the world is going on? Why are people blathering about Keith?

I've cut all political tv back to only Keith and only step in to check DU occasionally and I pop in tonight to find out people are yelling 'off with his head', I saw the keith apologizes thread here and can't figure out what he's done. I only saw someone's OP about Keith threatening Hillary - What!? I thought I'd come ask level headed people what's happened, and I wonder how could I have missed it? Thanks

1. He didn't threaten Clinton. At least not in the real world.

He said something last week about the rivalry between Obama and Clinton, and them going into a room, and only "he" comes out. He later apologized for using the wrong pronoun (he should have said only "one" comes out), but the Clinton people where doing their usual Drama Queen thing and throwing fits.

I just wonder how many times they can throw Keith under the bus. :eyes:

3. Thanks, that must have been Thursday's show? That's the only one I missed this week -

I've been concerned with them trying to do a mailing to try to get him fired (and I wouldn't be surprised if the Republicans have someone planted here to stir up stuff since he's the only one who's not cowering in front of Bush - wouldn't that be cool to get the Democrats to get their own hero fired!!1!1). They are looking for whatever little thing they can blow out of proportion, I haven't seen this yet but it looks like what's going on.

So, if you guys see any effort here at DU to start something against him, can you PM me so I can send a counter e-mail? Thanks.

4. Here or the 'news'?

I had been watching only MSNBC because I thought some of the honesty of Countdown spilled over but I'd just had it with the majority of everything on their morning line-up. I figured if they're trying to keep this mess going with lies and half-truths to keep their ratings up, I wouldn't be part of it. DU-P I have no words for, I've been afraid of the hate that's being stoked up against Obama. It's bad enough that we have that kind of stuff coming from the Republican party but I'm furious that it's allowed to go on amongst Democrats.
