Tears are not enough - or are they, for Hillary Clinton?
Remember Hillary Clinton's emotional moment the day before the New Hampshire primary on Jan. 8? It was thought, by many, to have helped spark her come-from-behind win there over Barack Obama.
But will it work a second time? Clinton teared up again Monday during a campaign event in New Haven, Conn., one of the states holding primaries on Super Tuesday.
As in New Hampshire, Clinton has been under enormous strain with polls showing Obama either tied or leading her in national polls, and in key Super Tuesday states like California.
The emotional moment in Connecticut when an old friend introducing Clinton remarked on the young idealistic woman he had known in the early 1970s. He got choked up, then Hillary did.
“I said I would not tear up. Already, we’re not exactly on that path,” Clinton said when she took the microphone.

Whether or not they are geniune makes little to no difference. They are effective.
They worked before and they will work again with a portion of the public.
