My newest poem!
“Wanting”

it coils up
the serpent
from the core

wraps around
the throat

squeezes
til the
lust
bursts

the poison
from every
pore

moistens
the skin

makes it
glow
shimmer
tremble

ready to be
touched

but
nobody’s

there
