Bolton was just asked a question about PNAC at a press conference
"You have spoken often about the credibility of the UN and it seems (bolton interjects "and so has Secretary Rice") yes, and Rice has as well, but that seems to work in your favor when they do what you want them to do, but you violated the UN charter when you went to war against Iraq and you consistently lied to us about the reasons that we went to war and this war was drawn up inversely (might not be the correct word there)in Israel in 1996 with the Project of the new American Century and you know, how why do you have credibility other than you just have got the biggest guns?"

Bolton - "May I ask what media outlet you're from?"

Reporter responded something Weekly, but I couldn't make out the name of the outlet.

Anybody else catch this?

Bolton responded "We did not violate the UN charter in the war to overthrow Saddam Hussein and that plan was not drawn up inhertsly (again, missed the word - sorry) at the Project for the New American Century. Ok, well, then perhaps you can refer them to somebody."

He said this as he was discussing action to be taken against Iran if they don't comply with UN resolutions.

1. He Asked What News Outlet This Reporter Was From So They.....
could threaten them so that an outbreak of real journalism doesn't break out again and make him feel uncomfortable.

3. "We did not violate the UN Charter" -- there's an outright lie
Apparently we were under "armed attack" by Iraq and I didn't even know it. :eyes:

7. YES. Please, please people keep mentioning the PNAC
Colbert asked William Kristol about it last night on his show too.

Way too few people even know about it. If the "mainstream" media isn't going to report on it, I hope it keeps being mentioned so that the curious might come online and look it up.

15. But can the MSM Bay Air to tell the truth?

Bolton is one nasty bag of dung. Not only was he a PNAC signer but he
forced his first wife to sex with other men so he could watch and play with himself.
(from her divorce papers)

Why would anybody belief anything he says?
