Imagine if...
Iraq war costs total $300 billion with future costs for injured vets of anywhere from $1-2 trillion. All to secure US interests in oil from the Middle East.

Imagine if that $300 billion was spent developing an ethanol industry and infrastructure that takes advantage of a renewable source of energy available right here, right now...

Imagine if the future $1-2 trillion was earmarked for fuel cell technology and the supporting infrastructure...

Imagine if 1% of those future costs were put into NASA for development of as yet unknown technologies that could further lessen/eliminate the "addiction to oil".

An energy-independent America.

1. Imagine Bush, Cheney and his cronies
on a street corner with a tin cup begging for spare change.

2. And just imagine if there was no usable oil in the 'conquered' land,
and/or this oil cabal couldn't get their dirty hands on it. :eyes:

4. I so agree
I posted something similar a while ago. If all that money was spent on renewable energy technology, we'd be in great shape.
