I saw a bit of that at noon today but didn't notice who the suspect was.

:wow:

BTW, the victim lived in Crestwood, not Crenshaw.

Police Say Man Admits Shooting Estranged Wife And Her Boyfriend
http://www.wave3.com/Global/story.asp?S=4885446

(NEW ALBANY, Ind.) -- An apparent domestic dispute turned deadly Tuesday night, leaving a Crestwood man dead and a Floyd County woman in the hospital after her estranged husband allegedly shot her.

Police believe the suspect, 36-year-old Edward Stoess, shot his estranged wife, Deena, after killing her boyfriend, 35-year-old James Shuttler III.

Shuttler was found dead in his Crestwood home after Deena Stoess called Oldham County police from New Albany, asking police to check on him because her husband had threatened him.

Police say it started Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. in Floyd County, Ind. when they were called to Deena Stoess's home in the 3500 block of Greenfield Drive in New Albany. She told them her estranged husband, Edward Stoess, was tearing up the house.

Wonder if they're related to the Stoess family of Crestwood. They own a lot (or used to anyway) of businesses including a funeral home.

Dang! The woman lives about 1/2 mile from where my new job is! :scared:

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- A former Floyd County Republican Party chairman was being held Wednesday on charges he shot two people, killing one of them.

Edward R. Stoess, 36, of New Albany was being held in the Floyd County Jail on a charge of attempted murder after police said he shot his estranged wife Tuesday.

The sheriff's department also was holding him for authorities in Oldham County, Ky., where he is suspected of fatally shooting James Shuttler III, 35, of Crestwood.

<snip>

Deena Stoess had called police in Oldham County, Ky., earlier in the day and told them her husband intended to shoot Shuttler, said Oldham County police officer James Brown.

Powerful Look into Christian Politics, June 3, 2004
I would encourage every conservative to take the time to read Martos' book and gain an understanding into these controversial issues in light of fundamental Christian beliefs. Joseph Martos has taken the time to research and examine issues such a healthcare, national defense, and environmental policy in light of Christian biblical principles. Martos' comparison of those principles versus actual U.S. policy provides a stark contrast. As a Christian, I was compelled to re-examine my core political viewpoints in light my faith.
