Time mag Monday: Controversial spying program could give boost to Bush
New York, NY-There was a time-say, four years and nine months ago-when news that the government had been gathering up the country's phone records might have been the making of a scandal, or even a constitutional crisis. But although there have been protests from civil libertarians and some criticism on Capitol Hill, early indications suggest the revelation could actually give a political boost to President George W. Bush, reports TIME's Karen Tumulty in the new issue of TIME, on newsstands Monday, May 15th.

2. Ho-hum. How many boost-to-bush stories has the MSM floated
over the past 8 months? And what is the consistent direction of *'s
poll numbers?

They don't give up, do they?

5. Good news is good news for Bush; bad news is good news for Bush
It's all so easy, isn't it? Everything that happens is a boost to Bush, see, because in an alternate concept of the universe, see, time and space are a curved structure, and everything, no matter how bad it looks, actually and eventually comes all the way back around to benefit the Bush administration. It has to, you see?

Oh, the dangers of rushing into print with a story based on one bogus poll. Time and Karen Tumulty come out looking like the prize chumps they are.

8. Here's how domestic spying helps Bush:
He spies on all the MSM, and then threatens to have the whole lot of them shot for treason (trumped-up charges of course), and so they crawl back into their holes and do an even better job of supporting Bush. It's so easy.

Winning Through Intimidation - probably the only book Bush has ever actually read. Par for the course, for the man who likes to blow up frogs.

11. No wonder some of these folks looked "scared"
I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually threatened and/or blackmailed into supporting the * Administrations Policies, without question. :(
