How would the U.S. react if occupying armies were shooting our kids?

I just wonder how we as a nation would react if an invading army took to the habit of waking us up before dawn and shooting our mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers and daughters and sons? By the thousands.

Would we be all upset, or would American Idol keep us distracted?

I predict the gun toting macho slobs would suddenly find themselves faced with their own kind of force, and run for their lives. It might actually be entertaining, god forbid.

My grandmother loaded guns to hand to her soldiers, so they could fend off the Turks. It really changes a person.

would probably become collaborators. It happens in all wars.

It would not surprise me to see some beer-gutted faux news-watching morans turning on their own.
