The vice president said 250,000 Iraqi forces have been trained by U.S. troops.
(BTW in Iraq there is exactly 0, none, zip, nada, and so on of battalions that can
fight on their own.)

There's been a real problem with infiltration that hasn't been addressed. Many units owe more allegiance to religious clerics than to some secular notion of an Iraqi state.
