Could a 15-Year-Old With a Laptop Be the New Campaign Media Guru?

Daily Kos's convention — the in-person gathering of the nation's most-read online political blog — was practically carpeted with presidential candidates. But perhaps the most notable presentation came from Ava Lowery, a 15-year-old from rural Alabama, whose homemade video was shown at the convention on jumbo television screens.

Ms. Lowery's video.....shows that a 15-year-old with video software and Internet access can now create and disseminate a professional-quality political ad.

was faulted not just by the 'it's' but also by adding the S to make it seem like there's more than one!!!! Deadeye Dick is the sole supporter, the Monkey the puppet, and the rest just sheep to the slaughter!!!!!!

In all seriousness, though, it's a fantastic effort by a youngster. And I fail to see what, as the NYT snarkily observed, was "a bit over the top" in her effort. Shit, she spoke blunt truth to power, and told them what was coming down the road. Of course, one now expects Quisling-esque caveats from what used to be the paper of record, but what is now the paper for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog TO POOP ON when he can't leave his apartment on a cold winter day!

But the link in the original post points to the New York Times, which is NO LONGER a free link. Ever since they went from free-with-registration to subscribe-to-read, they are no longer worth reading and do not deserve to be patronized. I'm not opposed to pay sources (I contribute to DU, Salon and Bartcop.com) but the Times gets sufficient income from its embedded ads to pay for reading, and they're trying to squeeze its readers too much.
