2. That is a big lineup, but...
all three at once is a bit much. I see them all the time on Lehrer, the Sunday shows, etc.

We need more Jack Reed, Barney Frank, DiFi, etc.

3. Ed Schultz
You know, I think Randi Rhodes is so intelligent; however, I've been spending that same time listening to Ed. He has great guests and he takes calls. With Randi, it's a four-hour rant. She goes over the same things again and again. I just get angrier. I find myself thinking, "OK Randi. We know all that. What do we do about it? How about asking the listeners to call in with a plan. How about getting some guests on the show who have a plan?"

7. exactly
I could have written your post word for word. I like Ed's guests and the amount of callers he takes. Randi takes few calls, and has been rude and not let them talk. Ed's audience is 2.25 million a week; Randi's is 1.25 million.

It's fine with me if people want to listen to Randi. I just find it gets to be too much.

5. You listen to Thom Hartmann?
Edited on Wed Jun-14-06 02:47 PM by melissinha
He's like Randi but more informed, more controlled ....just not as funny. I listen to both cause they're on a different times. (I know she works hard to be informed, but Hartmann is polished)

10. Mine postponed her for Ed
So I have to wait even longer to listen to Majority Report cause after streaming live, she's a "repeat" for me.

8. well, he permits a wide range of opinions
He even takes calls from Repubs and lets them talk, which makes an interesting show. Lets us know many sides of issues so we can decide what we think. He has his own opinions but allows others to have theirs too. Stuff like that.
