Bush Rejects Calls for Pullout From Iraq (try making sense of this!)

Bush Rejects Calls for Pullout From Iraq

Snip...

"It's bad policy," Bush said in a Rose Garden news conference Wednesday, about six hours after he returned from Iraq...

As opposed to the current policy?

"...I know it may sound good politically. It will endanger our country to pull out of Iraq before we accomplish the mission."

Again! Danger! Danger! Mission Accomplished! Mission Accomplished!

"I sense something different happening in Iraq," Bush said.

It's called civil war!

"Don't bet on American politics forcing my hand, because it's not going to happen," Bush said.

Maybe I'll bet on reality forcing his hand, then again...!

The guy is delusional!

3. Bush: unrealistic to hope for "zero violence."

Bush sees progress but not "zero violence" in Iraq

By Matt Spetalnick

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Americans can expect steady progress in Iraq but it would be unrealistic to hope for "zero violence," President George W. Bush said on Wednesday after a surprise trip to Baghdad to bolster the new Iraqi government.

It's unrealistic to compare outrage at the death of hundreds of innocent people daily to expectations of "zero violence."
