Why doesn't David Brock write a book about Mann Coulter?

I don't think he would though. He's a pretty straight shooter now and is trying to avoid getting in the gutter with the snipes like Coulter. I'm assuming that you've read his two books. I highly recommend them, especially "Noise Machine."

I'm getting old. These books drive me insane and keep me from sleeping at night, but an expose on Coulter might make me sleep like a baby.

I know a few people who couldn't get through Franken's "Lies" book because it pissed them off so much. They liked it, they just couldn't get through it. "Noise Machine" is pretty straight forward and academic. It's a good walk through of exactly how Republicans got control of the media and basically dumbed down the level of debate.

If you want a fun read, check out "Attack Poodles" by James Wolcott. Very funny book. Rips the talking heads pretty well.

I do agree that they need to go on the defensive. Maybe that's what's wrong with me - I'm TIRED. Tired of being pissed off. Tired of being on the defensive. Tired of having to explain why the US needs to follow Geneva Convention rules too.

not yours. The threading on DU allows you to see which comment is being responded to, and the fact that my comment came after yours does not mean it was directed to you. Welcome to DU. You will find a range of views here, many disagreements, some harshly expressed, but a common interest in the common good.

My own view on the KKKulter afficianados is that they are being played, but they probably disagree. I agree with you that "It's just more free publicity for (it)"
