Today Arizona's candidates filed their paperwork to get on the
ballot and I have great news to report to you.

Arizona Democrats are launching their biggest challenge in more than
a decade. We are poised to contest Republicans in 59 state races.

This show of strength is a testament to the many hours you have
volunteered, the dollars you have donated, and your commitment to
improving our communities and building the Arizona Democratic Party.

This show of strength illustrates the opportunities we have to move
Arizona forward. With a concerted effort over the next five months,
we can win seats in the state legislature -- giving Governor
Napolitano and Attorney General Goddard a legislature willing to
represent all Arizonans, not just influential special interests.
Our
opportunities don't end with the Legislature. Arizona Democrats
can
pick-up several key statewide offices ensuring that our schools are
given the resources they need, our votes are always counted, our tax
dollars are invested properly, and our corporations don't abuse the
public trust.
