I think my freeper brother has gone round the twist...
so I "accidentally" sent him the mind of a republican and here is his reply...(I'm so hoping it's a joke)
Good stuff on the republicans...I was thinking about the mind of a democrat
and a few things came to mind...

Jesus loves you, but don't you dare mention it
If you worship any other god, go right ahead and flaunt it.
In fact, if you use your religion to justify killing hundreds of thousands of
people worldwide, we'll leave religion out of it.
Instead, we'll refer to you as the religion of peace and call our war against
you the war on "terror".

Terrorism is our fault. If we just talk to these people and send them money,
they'll stop trying to take over the world.

America is evil. The American flag is a sign of oppression and should not be
displayed, unless being set ablaze
or desicrated in another suitable manner.

Multiculturalism is the end all be all of everything. Don't ever question it...

The New York Times shall determine which secrets stay secret, and shall not be
required to disclose its sources.
Conservative or Republican leakers, however, must be prosecuted to the fullest
extent of the law.

Disclosing secrets vital to national security is ok as long as it is a
Republican-sponsored program.

Sedition is OK, as long as we don't agree with the war.

History can be re-written in order not to offend anyone.

On the same note, it is never ok to offend anyone under any circumstances,
unless they are conservative.

Racism is bad. Racism is ok, however, when it is used to bash conservative
minorities.

In the mind of a democrat, elected officials, sworn to uphold the law and the
Constitution, can break the law, or advocate it be broken. (Gavin Newsome and
illegal immigration). Don't change the law through the democratic process!!!
If you disagree with a law, break it.

It is a fact that white people suck, but white men suck most of all.

The crusades were perpetrated by white europeans, without provocation.

More to come...

2. And he has that irrational repuke hatred of the french...
I hope this is just a phase, being raised by hippie liberal intellectuals left very little to use as a form of rebellion...(at least I got over it by pledging a sorority when I was younger) If I were a prayin' sort, I'd be on my knees praying for his eternal soul!

8. Yep. And it's the inability to work in facts
that causes us to label someone insane.

6. A few comments on some of this
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 03:35 AM by tenshi816
badly thought-out nonsense:

"In the mind of a democrat, elected officials, sworn to uphold the law and the Constitution, can break the law, or advocate it be broken." Um, isn't that what King Georgie is doing with all his many signing statements, saying that he reserves the right to interpret the law as he sees fit and ignore some laws altogether if he chooses?

"Jesus loves you, but don't you dare mention it." I don't know any Democrats who have a problem with Christians (or anyone else) worshipping as they choose. It's when Christians try to force their religion on other people that it becomes a problem, and this includes compulsory prayer in school. No one's stopping anyone from praying; just don't try to make others do it along with you.

"If you worship any other god, go right ahead and flaunt it." Well, he has us there. What else would your brother have non-Christians do?

"In fact, if you use your religion to justify killing hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, we'll leave religion out of it." Presumably he's referring to Muslims here, but historically the same thing could be said of Christians.

"Instead, we'll refer to you as the religion of peace and call our war against you the war on 'terror'." If he bothers to do a little research, your brother will find that his President has said exactly that. This is not something the Democrats invented.

"The American flag is a sign of oppression and should not be displayed, unless being set ablaze or desicrated in another suitable manner." This is just silly and at the maturity level of grade school. Democrats don't want to do anything nasty to the flag (although we are pointing out how stupid it is for Congress to waste time debating the matter when there are so many issues of more importance to the American people that need to be addressed). Also, your brother can't spell. The word is desecrate.

"it is never ok to offend anyone under any circumstances, unless they are conservative." Again, this is silly. I'm a liberal and a Democrat and I'm an equal opportunity offender - political persuasion has nothing to do with it. I imagine most people feel exactly the same way.

"History can be re-written in order not to offend anyone." History, as the old saying goes, is written by the winners. To make themselves look good.

"Racism is bad. Racism is ok, however, when it is used to bash conservative minorities." What is he talking about? What conservative minorities would that be exactly? Racism is never OK, BTW.

"The crusades were perpetrated by white europeans, without provocation." What the fuck does this have to do with Democrats?

Jeebus, and your brother is a lawyer? Where did he go to school? Patrick Henry College?

Edited for typo.
