Freep: "I have more respect for Islamic terrorists than I do for liberals"
Just seen posted on the infamous 'another board.'

Now we know where they REALLY stand on terrorism. Why do conservatives hate liberty and democracy?

1. Of course he does.
The terrorists are the only ones that kept his idiot president in power.

3. And also, the only tactics RW'ers understand or respond to are violent.
They are kindred spirits, so of course he respects them.

2. Only a matter of time before the Freetards and the Islamists join forces.
They are both struggling against modernity, they are on the same side of the Really Long War.

4. And they accuse US of loving terrorists
Their hypocricy runs even deeper than I had thought. Why do Freepers hate America? Why do they support the enemies of America?

6. This attitude and deep-seated hatred is why just winning an
election will never be enough. If we lose the elections in '06 and '08, then we are finished as a nation; either civil war will breakout or there will be huge detention camps and we'll be in them - or both. If the fascists lose in '06 and '08 (which is highly unlikely) then they will start the civil war. Either way there is serious blood in the future of this country. That, I think, you can take to the bank. We will never be able to live at peace with these people...never...

9. We used to
America has always been a boiling cauldron. We just need to review some tactics used by a great Republican President, Abraham Lincoln. I believe we need to focus on the teaching of Respect to our children and our nation. It is because of a complete lack of Respect that the GOP can even exist today. They have no Respect for People or the Earth. People like Limbaugh are the epiteme of this. What with his "FemiNazi" or "Whacko Treehugger" or all the other cutsie little names he makes up for people. Respect and our nation can come together once again, without it there just might be blood in our streets.

15. I think the best thing to do is cut our ties and give them a state.
(and sorry folks but Texas is the perfect choice) That way anyone that wants to can go live in a fascist state and we'll gladly take the Texas liberals in to the free states.

11. Anyone making that remark has no concept of the word.
And making that remark on a website of like-minded (please excuse the exaggeration) idiots is just like talking to himself. Now if he really wants to be a big man, let him go out in public and say that to a liberal. See how long he'd last.

13. Give Me a Break
You know, to this day I can't figure out why they hate liberals so much. I can understand a simple ideological disagreement, but I can't figure out why they hate us in such an extreme fashion. Even after all these years, I am still baffled by it. We are not the threat that the Islamic terrorists are.

17. They're constantly being whipped into a frenzy by the right wing noise
machine. Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter, Hannity, and many more like them spew hatred 24/7. I believe that the wingnuts would really like to see all people like us dead.

I, on the other hand, hate their guts, but I don't want to see them dead. I just want to see them forever kept away from the levers of power in this country.

18. They hate us because we are superior to them. We are superior
in the very ideas and concepts that made America what it used to be. Fairness, brotherhood and sisterhood, compassion, progress, understanding, justice, education, care, equality, open-mindedness, work, responsibility, engagement, empathy, civic mindedness, service - and the list goes on and on. In the whole "citizenship" arena liberals far outshine any of these right-wing fucks - and the brighter ones know it. It eats them up inside. They want to kill us because they can't be us...

20. I honestly don't think the hate has much to do with politics.
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 09:49 AM by Marr
I think most of these people are simply miserable human beings, disappointed with their lives and looking for someone else to blame.

Seriously- if it were about policy, they'd be better informed. They'd look for facts and research rather than biased commentary and party dogma. The conservatives I know have no real regard for facts or civil debate at all. They're usually just bitter people.

14. Not surprising
American Conservatives and Mujuhadin are two sides of the same coin; a reaction against the end of History (to quote one former neocon). It's yet another example of what Nietzsche wrote about, IMO...

Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 09:29 AM by stepnw1f
They are just too self-deluded to realize it. Who sells guns to terrorists... GOP. Who helped build Al Queda... Who help create Death Squads in South America? Who illegally invaded another country?

I always thought those ignorant clowns were anti-American. They just hide behind patriotic symbols to give the appearance of being pro-democracy.

Feel free to leave at any time, Traitors.

27. Not that many terrorist organizations sponsored the GI Bill or the
Civil Rights Bill or Supplementary Social Security Income, etc.

The liberal model of government generally and Democratic Congresses especially produced those and thousands of other pro-people programs.

Go, Democrats.
