Clinton says Democrats hold keys to bright future
President gives emotional address to party convention

Wow, How I yearn for the good old days!

..snip

Saying the Democratic Party holds the keys to "progress and prosperity," President Clinton made the case for the election of his protege, Vice President Al Gore, in an emotional address to the party convention Monday night.

"Are we going to keep this progress and prosperity going? Yes we are," Clinton told convention delegates, who cheered at length and chanted as he began the night's major address.

..snip

Everything we had to look forward to in 2000 has been blown away.

:grr:

1. I can barely comprehend a country like we used to be
Junior Bush and his regime have taken a lot away from us.

There have always been problems and injustices in this country, but there were also so many good things about America in the time before this disgraceful, criminal regime that are now gone forever.

2. Its not been that long ago, when we used to use the words
"hope" and looked to the future. There was actually a reason to feel positive about this country and the direction we were headed in. I will never forget 1992, and Bill Clinton being announced as the man from Hope. After 12 years of Reagan and Bush, it was a time to look forward.
