Complete silence, quiet weeping all around. I had expected to see it nearly alone or some jeers or walkouts.Very interesting.

This will stay with me a LONG time.

The effect builds even AFTER you leave the theater - the final scene is still getting to me a few hours later.

Well - if we don't have the Presidency, OR the House OR the Senate OR the sSupreme Court.... at least we have the Globes and probably the Oscars.Somehow I still don't feel any better.

2. I'm with you
That movie has stayed with me and it's been five days since I saw it.
I cried like a little baby! :hi:

The place was mobbed for a 1:00 p.m. showing in Waterbury, CT. I was surprised by the showing. But it was MLK day so maybe a lot of people had off from work.

4. I'm about to head out to see
the last showing now (I'm on mountain time), so I'll be sure to check back in and let you know what I thought. The short story was wonderful, and incredibly moving and sad at the end, so I'm assuming the movie will be quite an experience.

5. When it comes out on video...
We have to make sure we send a vhs copy to Fred Phelps. Bet it would give the old fart a heart attack.

I wonder how many RW nuts got suckered into seeing this movie, I mean, look at that poster... There like two Marlborough Men up there. Hate to have been working in that theatre. Cleaning gum, popcorn, m&ms and puke mixed with soda is bad but cleaning up after a mass right-wing head explosion.... shudder... with glee.
