What is the status of Rove in the Plame investigation?
I followed Plamegate before Scooter's indictment. I watched closely as slippery Rove somehow evaded
an indictment.

We've had a good chunk of quiet time, since Fitzgerald indicted Libby. Now, Rove seems to think that
he can re-surface, brush himself off and continue his evil deeds.

Does anyone know the status of Rove, in Fitzgerald's investigation?

Is Rove in the clear?

What didn't Fitzgerald have on Rove a few months ago---that he may obtain in the coming months?

Anyone know the current status?

I would love to see "the architect's" house of cards fall down around him---real soon.

Any links or info would be most appreciated.

1. Last I heard
he had to go to Chicago for another case he was working on before Plame. I think he was finishing up and should be returning to DC soon. Wasn't he supposed to meet with the jury sometime this last week or so?

3. Thanks for the information....question---
Does anyone think that Fitzgerald not indicting Rove meant that Fitzgerald is having trouble
finding anything against Rove?

It seemed clear that Rove lied to Fitzgerald when he said that he heard the information "from a reporter." If memory serves me, didn't Cooper and Russert both say that Rove told them?

I'm just wondering how Rove avoided an indictment.

I'm wondering what more time could bring.

I know much of this is speculation. I'll do some more reading on Plame.

I was really hoping that this scandal would bring them down.
