My Predictions: Cheney will resign before 2007 - and - a NEW George Bush
With Congress looking more like its going into Democratic hands, Cheney will resign within weeks after the election.

With a 15% positive rating, Cheney knows a Democratically controlled congress will enthusiastically haul his ass under the bright lights. So with his history of heart trouble, he'll quietly ride off into the sunset.

As for Bush, he'll be nervous too. But he won't resign. Instead, Rove will instruct him to nominate John McCain for VP. The corporate owned media will spin this as a magnanimous gesture on the part of Bush - an olive branch to the Democrats. The entire media will be abuzz about...the NEW George Bush.

Unfortunately, Rove will have fixed the behind the scenes situation. In exchange for the VP, McCain will promise to carry water for the neocons. McCain will be the star of 2007. The corporate owned media will love him. McCain's the one to 'bridge the gap' between Bush and the Democrats. He will heal the nation. Meanwhile, Cheney will be in some undisclosed location - getting daily briefings, and calling the shots.

You know this scenario is spinning around in Karl Rove's fat head at this very minute. Or is it?

5. He won't have a choice. Congress will tie him up in investigations

He'll be before congress getting grilled on a host of his scams...secret oil industry meetings, faulty WMD intelligence, Halliburton, Plamegate..that he'll have no time to run the government.

If he resigns and feigns heart problems, the pressure to testify will be off. He'll get a Doctors excuse that testimony is too much stress for him.

This will free him up to sequester himself into a secret location and call the shots to Bush and Rove.

11. Before 2007?
I don't think so. The puppeteer doesn't quit so that the puppet can run the show. It's likelier that he'll die before he resigns.

7. Not To Defend McCain, but
I don't think Bush would bring in McCain. Even though he's really just your average spineless politician, he's NOT a war mongering, "America should control the Earth" Neocon. He'd be to incompatible with the rest of the blood drinking vampires, like Powel was.

That said, replacing Cheney with another Neocon wouldn't surprise me at all.
...but don't expect Cheney to completely leave the scene. He's too integrated into all this to just be able to make a clean break.
