Lauer to Woodward: Why didn't you shout it from the mountaintop?
Matt Lauer just called Woodward on his 5 years in which he praised bush and didn't tell us what he is now telling us.

Woodward had a lame excuse

7. He said that his editor told him that it had to be
delivered before the election. He said that doing the research and connecting the dots took time and that he researched most of in last year.

In other words, I didn't know I was lieing when I wrote the other two books, and it took me all this time to figure out that I was lieing.

Woodward is no newspaper person - he is all about money for himself.

10. Had MSM fully exposed extreme RW PNAC agenda being implemented from
the git-go, i.e., had MSM fulfilled their sacred obligation, we the people would have been bombarded daily about: the fiscal insanity and unfairness of the tax system taking place; the environmental destruction being perpetrated; the trampling of the rule of law, international law, and international treaties; the ignoring of multitude of warnings about an impending terrorist attack on the US; the ensuing assault on the most of the Bill of Rights and much of the rest of the Constitution through the already-written The USA Patriot ACT et al; the run-up to an aggressive pre-emptive war based on ideology (PNAC) rather than an actual threat: the off-loading of hundreds of billions of dollars from the Treasury to favored contractors in often no bid, unlimited cost-over-run contracts; the politicization of the civil service system; the dismantling of worker rights; the harm being inflicted to the economy, the jobs market, the standard of living, the value of the dollar and (we can all add to this list).
