Alcohol disinhibits people, so a guy who dreamed all his life of seducing young boys but who knew the consequences for both the boy's emotional health and his legal heath would probably not act on it.

With enough alcohol, he'd be disinhibited enough to act on it.

Alcohol doesn't cause underlying pathology, but it does allow people to act on whatever they have lurking in the shadows of their personalities.

Alcohol is a bad drug. A rational society would legalize better drugs in the hope that fewer would turn to alcohol.

to children no matter how drunk I might have gotten. Sober as a judge now though and truly enjoying it I might add. Reminds me of the saying, I seen you sober and I thought you were drunk. Being under the influence only makes a person carry out things they are already prone to want to do not make them do it.
