1. 30,000 causualities is a number we hear too rarely.

. . .We need to hear this more often:

"More then Two-Thousand Seven Hundred dead. A number that would be much higher but for the heroic efforts of medical personnel. But they can't make people whole. We have 30,000 who have come home missing arms and legs. With brain injuries that they will never recover from. With injuries that will require life-long care."
