This was a huge deal. She was chosen from among several people all of whom were impressive. To this day she is the only person from my former high school to have served as a page. This will be a lead line of her resume for a long time to come. No wonder the pages didn't want to come forward. Foley changed this experience for these boys from this kind of experience to one that will always be tinged with guilt and shame. For these bastards to be blaming this kids for not coming forward, for that alone they deserve to lose.

always leaves it's mark. At the very least, one's self-image, and relationship with their own sexuality goes through the wringer. People should frame this 'scandal' in it's true light, which is exploitation of those especially vulnerable by those especially powerful.

2. Headline her Resume?

WTF? Since when do high school activities matter that much except on a college application.

As a manager who hires people frequently, I would would down rate a candidate that lists high
school accomplishments, even if they are fresh out of college. What about their college years?
If they were a page in high school, did they go on to intern for an agency or something while
in college (when I worked for NASA, I hired a boatload of college kids for internships).

3. She later went on a mission in south america

and is now a teacher. I certainly would put in on my resume and include college stuff too.
