Why have they not seized Foley's computers??? What kind of FBI
investigation is this??? White man's justice?? Rich man's justice?

Somebody needs to start asking this question. This is the longest and slowest beginning to an FBI investigation in the history of the US.

2. They're following standard procedure:
Never mess with a Congressman whose political affiliation begins with the letter "R."

4. They're just giving Comrade Bushevik time to purge his hard drive
of what is almost certainly a plethora of homosexual kiddie porn.

5. I asked this question yesterday.
I don't understand why this wasn't done. Foley's lawyer said that he and Foley were dedicated to keeping all the evidence in his office, home and on computers safe and sound. Sure they were.

"yah, that computer has some pretty bad stuff on it, but we better not touch it in case the FBI wants to see it."

10. This is an absolute outrage. I'm sickened that Foley is going to walk
once he gets out of rehab just like that sicko Mark Karr will be back teaching school in a few months.

As a mother, this is an outrage.

6. Some legal group
turned over the original emails to the FBI over three months ago. Apparently, they didn't do anything with the information. If Foley was a regular citizen, he would be in jail, his home and his office searched, his computers confiscated and his friends and family questioned at this point.

9. Well, the Clerk of the House runs the IT crap, and that whole staff
is GOP tools. That's why Foley's website disappeared almost contemporaneously with the announcement of his resignation....

14. I've been asking since Friday
If this were you or I, our computers would have been long gone from our homes or offices.

This again is not incompetence, it is willingly allowing what ever needs to be done in order to protect whomever needs to be protected.

The minute I heard his lawyer yesterday saying that Foley has been asked not to erase or tamper with his computer, but that the computers had not been confiscated, I started to smell coverup in the air.

Questions to Jeb and Charlie Crist need to be asked.

Unless Foley's already got the hard drive scrubbed, there should still be some dirt left for the FBI to find ...

18. You have to understand. Most thorough disk wipes take days to finish...
It would be impolite to seize a Republican's computer without giving the owner a chance to thoroughly wipe it first.

19. Not to throw wet blankets or anything but ...
I suppose they don't need to seize the computers because the smtp, pop, and proxy servers that all the mail, messages, and internet access would be routed through already would be in the custody of the Feds.
