I just visited the Pit Vipers den and came away with THIS...
It's obvious the Foley scandal, though based on real events, is a typical Democrat political operation. The news media knows this but don't care. By the time the whole scheme is unraveled and exposed the election will be over. Also, in the public's mind, Foley's behavior will negatively eclipse the Democrat sleazy tactics. If Foley had one decent fiber left in his whole body he would put a bullet in his head.

2. That's no more crazy than saying this is Rove's doing
Well, except for the part about how he should kill himself. I don't condone suicide. But seriously, this "Rove is playing us all for fools!!!" line is equally rediculous. If you can't see why this is the worst thing that could possibly happen to Republicans at this juncture, I don't know what to say (and I've been thinking pretty hard on that one).

5. In case you didn't notice...
I stole that little tidbit from the FreeRepublic Buttcrust site. They are doing nothing but blaming Dems for this fiasco...as per usual! What a bunch of psychopaths! :puke:

12. Yeah, I know
I'm saying there are people on both sides of the issue rushing to the most complicated explanation when the simplest one seems the best.

6. Nevertheless, I have a raving paranoid subpersonality in me somewhere
that wakes up every morning wondering if it's gonna discover that Rove has pulled some kinda Rathergate switcheroo out of his ass, and all of a sudden the slavering pack of M$M ghouls is back to hounding the hapless, bumbling Dems for picking on the Puggies.

"And YOU say Dems don't have a PLAN?!?!"

11. Ha! Yeah, I'd actually be impressed if there were some
Democrats choreographing this. If we do have anyone that ruthless and competent, they've stayed VERY well hidden.

exhibited anonymously from a computer keyboard someplace.

8. ABC said it wasn't the Dems
I guess the morans will now be calling ABC part of the "liberal media" after all the wingnuts praising them for Pathos to 911.

9. How do they explain this "operation"?

Did Dems methodically "plant" seductive pages among the GOP to tempt Rep.Foley?

Did Dems secretly make Foley engage in "naughty" IMs with these underaged seducers?

Did Dems secretly coerce the reTHUG leadership into covering up Foley's inappropriate actions for the past few years?

There's now evidence that Foley's activity has been going on and has been covered up since 1995. So the freep freaks think the Dems were plotting all those years, including allowing the theft of the 2001 and 2004 elections, just so they could spring this master-minded "political operation" NOW?

These idiots are truly insane!

13. Medusa
The Republican caucus is a many-headed beast, snake heads biting at each other -- so long as they see a threat from one another.

It's quite a spectacle. Boner showed the true Republican colors when he said he thought Hastert should resign. Not coincidentally, he will be a candidate for Speaker.
