Maybe this is why they all sound like they are spouting the same damn thing. What is this a daily brainwashing?

I believe I caught this tidbit on Scarborough Country, and I found it unsettling.

1. I wonder if the Democrats do this...
I wonder if they should, but on the other hand I wonder if that is part of the Republican problem.

2. ALL of them?

The most I've EVER heard of participating in any conference call, ever, is something like twelve or so. This was during my stint as a temp at the First of America Bank international HQ in downtown Kalamazoo, MI (JUST in case any fucking idiot Repubs want to check my assertion!!).

This was far before they idiotically renamed it "Fifth-Third Bank".**

How much is this call costing? Is this, in ITSELF, an abuse of power?

**Fifth-Third. Does that mean it's the fifth try for the third bank they tried? Or the third try for the fifth bank they tried?

I'm SO confused.

4. Yeah, that is how the story about Foley showing up drunk at the page dorms
came out. Someone raised it in a conference call of the 230 House Republicans. GOD NO WONDER THEY SOUND LIKE THEY ARE SHARING ONE BRAIN!

5. The government probably owns its own conference bridge.
The cost would be negligable.

I've routinely seen conference calls with hundreds of people on them. It's not really such a big deal.

7. It's what I would expect of the republicans.
They all agree to march in lock-step when they accept the party's nomination for higher office.

9. Receive marching orders is more like it.
230 Republicans all saying exactly the same thing...all wearing the same suits...brown shirts...

Just like the Jade Scorpion. That's how they do it. That's how they get all the Repukes voting as one.

Maybe "Madagascar" makes them all make sexual advances towards the pages.

11. I have to say I was incredibly put off by this...
and would feel the same if Democrats engaged in it. It might warrant me looking into whether Democrats do.
